I am not accepting new clients at this time.
I conduct all sessions virtually with individual adult clients. Due to licensing rules you must be in the state of Oregon during each session.
No matter why you are feeling lost, I believe that therapy can help you find your way. You can move from being exhausted by life to being excited about life. Therapy is not easy, as it challenges you to accept realities that you do not want to accept and it asks you to let go of old beliefs to make room for a new view of yourself, others, and the world. I’m Cherie Thompson, LPC and together we will find your way.

About Me
I was born and raised in Oregon, into a family with deep roots in Oregon, farming, and entrepreneurship. After my undergraduate degree started a career in the business world, and after 14 years decided I wanted a change. So I had a “mid-life retirement”, including travels and volunteering that helped me discover a passion for helping people embrace their power and enjoy their lives.
I graduated with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2016. I began this career working for a local agency, in a clinical setting, where I was able to support people as they overcame a variety of concerns. Yet my family roots were calling me to be self-employed, and since venturing out on my own I have refined my practice to supporting women as they learn to love and trust themselves.
Loving and trusting ourselves is an ongoing process, which takes intentional actions of prioritizing what matters to ourselves. I do my best to model this for clients, which means I balance my time spent in my career with activities that nurture me. I enjoy spending time with loved ones and dogs – they bring me peace and laughter. I also make time for solo activities of writing, reading, cooking/baking, meditation, and qigong.
